We know your pain and can only say how sad we are for your loss. Emily was an awesome friend and companion. I know how your heart aches and there are really no words. She was also quite a hoot and maybe at this time, memories of her antics will help you to smile.
The MacKenzies are dog lovers and our hearts and thoughts go out to you.
I remember the few times that I met Emily, she was a very playful and energetic dog and so beautiful... its always hard to lose someone like that, stay strong. Thinking of you. - Andrew MacKenzie
My heart aches for you. It is so hard to lose your best friend -- even when it is their time. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss my Jesse dog. The only comfort that can be taken is that they are no longer in pain or discomfort.
While I know it might not be much consolation, I hope you realize what an incredibly lucky dog Emily was to live with someone who loved and adored her so much. Might all dogs be so lucky. AND might all owners be so lucky to have such a wonderful and loyal friend.
sigh I lost your blog URL months and months ago finally got it from my sister tonight and just reading about Emily right now, 8 months later :( I hope time has helped. Tears falling down my face right now! Emily so much a part of your life and this blog. We all loved her too. hugs from Minnesota, Patty
